If so, do you ever think about the effect that the speed of execution might have on deals?

As an example, let's look at fast market conditions during a period of economic news:
You can see as many as 250 price changes per minute in a fast market. This means that the market can move four ticks in one second.
So for an average price of a EUR/USD currency pair there will be changes of 2 pips per second.

So the main factors affecting the speed of execution:
- Trading terminal delay
- Internet connection delay
- A delay in the broker completing the execution
Delays are going to occur in the transaction if you use a MetaTrader 4 terminal. You will find that in addition to the delays incurred just by using MT4, there will be a lag with the information going across the internet and more delay when the deal is to be executed by the broker.
MT4 delay = 600 milliseconds
Delay with internet connection = 100 milliseconds
The delay caused by broker execution = approx 200 milliseconds
For those using two or even more expert advisors, delays can be expected to increase due to MT4 only having one flow, so when the first EA send its order the second EA just waits.
How can you reduce this latency?
First, open an account with Real ECN Brokerage Company with stream quotes. After that, locate a virtual server close by the server of the broker and make sure there is a fast internet connection. With this, the broker's server can be pinged from the VPS.
If you have more than one EA, install more than one MT4 terminal and set it up to use the same password and account number. And for each expert advisor use one terminal.
Those of you who have had delays notified to you by the error "trade context is busy" will no longer have this problem.
