Crysis 2, is an upcoming first-person shooter online game, to be released on March 22nd of 2011. Developer Crytek's prime intention was to surpass both graphical and gameplay-wise of the original game, Crysis. Instead of creating another game in a jungle environment, like of its prequel Crysis and Far Cry, Crytek generated a shooter game dubbed as "the urban jungle" set in the heart of NYC. The new atmosphere brought new thrills in the game as it offers an array of options on how to gain progress in the game, scheming for an attack, fighting with technology advanced armors and winning battles.

Fictional Crynet Systems, a company that created Nanosuits give players the liberty to use the modes of suit according to their chosen playstyles. The redesigned nanosuit supports fresh and upgraded features. The previously Speed and Strength Modes were combined and became one Power mode. As of the stealth mode, they increased its sensory input, and from stealth melee kills were renamed to Infiltration mode. The armor mode was left almost the same except for regulated agility. Nanosuits foster many improvements over its antecedent. Players were given the freedom to upgrade the suits accordingly.

A unusual addition to the game was the change in number of players. Crysis 2 only limits to six-on-six players. Very opposite to the dominating trend in multiplayer shooter games which overcrowds the game area with people. Surely, this new game is taking a backward pace in its approach, surprising Crytek's fans. This is to favor a less deranged experience for a multiplayer game focusing more on placing heavier responsibility on each player says Camarillo. It is not just about weapons and who kills the most and the fastest, but importantly, it forces the players to think and analyze tactics and adapt quickly to situations. It is indeed a wild and interesting, nerve wracking and intensity filled game that will surely keep players from coming back.

Nathan Camarillo says that the sequel is a big change from the original. That was the main goal. The developer company wanted to create a new game that will grant the players to do exactly what they wanted to do from Crysis. The game is now made accessible to players letting them to layer the modes according to their accessibility and function. You couldn't do these things in the prequel. But with Crysis 2, we allow only a few restrictions.
