am using Relaince broadband, before browsing i have to login with username and password then only i'm allowed to browse, well this is fine.

now i try to share the internet connection wtih more than one computer using D-Link Switch and Proxy software. Both machines are running by Windows XP. i have logged in(Relaince broadband) from machine1 now the LocalAreaConnection is Connected status on both machines, but from the Command Prombt i ping the Default Gateway it's replying error as Packets Sent4, lost 4,am using Relaince broadband, before browsing i have to login with username and password then only i'm allowed to browse, well this is fine.

why the Default Gateway not ping from the machine 2, i have checked cable and switch all are ok. But i dont know what is the problem and how to solve it?
