While the sanctuary and nave ceiling vaults were finished in a two-color blue gaze and adorned with over 4500 evenly spaced gold stars. And the back sanctuary walls are decorated with faux marble and trompe l'oeil columns and frames that hold portraits of saints and miniature reproductions of Fra Angelico paintings.
