Musandam Dibba Trip- Journey to the heart of spectacular Musandam Dibba

Musandam Dibba trip is adventurous, entertaining and relaxing as well. A stunning coastal region at the northeastern tip of UAE/Oman peninsula on the Gulf of Oman, Musandam Dibba proves special holiday destination. Mainly for its crystal clear waters and the beautiful Hajjr mountains.

My plan to spend some time in nature got materialized when my spouse booked a trip to Musandam Dibba. We started our trip in the morning, pick up was from Dubai and the 4WD was really interesting as we could observe the sceneries and the mysterious mountains on our way to Musandam Dibba.

I was very much excited as I love admiring the sea and playing in the water, I was too eager to reach Musandam Dibba. We could see the mountains hugging the coastline with a series of inlets, towering craggy cliffs and spectacular -rocky fjords.

We checked out the famous Friday market, a line of old and new fashioned souks selling nice antiques, I spend more time admiring the mastery and variety of craft items on display. We did visit historic fort of musandam a historic monument throwing light on the ancient times. We were able to spot the people of Musandam Dibba who lives in the hamlets; they are very beautiful and traditional also.

When we reached Musandam Dibba, we boarded the traditional Omani dhow; I sat on the cosy Bedouin divan totally basking in the rays of the sun listening to the rhythmic notes of the calm and clear waters. My husband tried diving and snorkeling wearing flippers; I did join him for swimming as I could not resist the appeal of the thin, warm waters of Musandam Dibba.

I was peeping through the water enjoying marine beauty that is visible clearly from the clean water of Musandam Dibba. We got an amazing opportunity to watch the beautiful Dolphins playing in the waters. After indulging in water sports for a while we headed to the ship for having food. Musandam Dibba has unique identity in the taste of its dishes. We had tasty and spicy barbecue and very sweat desserts. We relished the food in the backdrop of the amazing blue waters.

We enjoyed our weekend to the most in the lovely city of Musandam Dibba; we did not feel like going back home as we wanted to spend more of our time in the tiny and cute place.
