My Affiliate Apprentice Review

Something for nothing

Something for nothing. We all like to think that we've received a great deal, or received something absolutely free, right? However, something for nothing can be a serious trade off when it comes to affiliate marketing forums.

While the forum may be "free," you may end up spending more money in that forum than you would in a forum with a paid membership. Why? Because free forums are apt to be full of sharks (seasoned marketers) just waiting to pounce on a floundering newbie. They will tell you that their latest product can solve all of your problems, and you will be attracting a bevy of hot chicks as you cruise by in your new Porsche. You know, the one you bought with the $23987.97 you made overnight while you slept after buying their great e-book on how to convert CPA offers using AdWords!

In many of these forums, your head will be ready to explode with all the conflicting advice and marketing shills going on. If you weren't confused before you set foot in one of these, I guarantee you will be within minutes. I recently joined a large, very well-known affiliate forum and I have to limit my time in there. There is too much going on, too many marketers marketing to other marketers. I have been doing affiliate marketing since last fall, and I have to stay on my guard not to be tempted by so many offers. I know better, yet it's still hard to resist. If I was totally new to the game, I could almost guarantee that my credit card would be maxed out in no time if I hung around there long!

Any one who reads my posts on a regular basis knows that I'm a moderator at My Affiliate Apprentice, and that I greatly admire and respect Roger Rowe who founded the forum. One of the things I most admire about him is that he does not allow anyone, including moderators, to post affiliate links within the forum. This helps keep everyone honest, as any advice given does not have the potential to make a sale for the person doling out the advice.

Once in a while, Roger may recommend a tool, but you can be sure it's one that he has personally tested and is a quality product. He doesn't go out of the way to recommend something outrageously expensive; it recommends what works for the best price possible. There is no hype; there is no pressure to buy. You will never have to read through an endless sales page full of large, red check marks to get his opinion on a product.

And the advice you receive at My Affiliate Apprentice is good advice. If you need a complete how-to for getting started with your first WordPress website, you can find it at My Affiliate Apprentice. There are many written and video tutorials that walk you through setting up your first site step-by-step. If you are a more advanced marketer, you will find sophisticated marketing and SEO strategies to increase your revenue. These are the strategies are used by top marketers, not watered-down versions with steps intentionally left out. You know, just to sell you another e-book that you don't need, and probably won't tell you what you need to know. Sound familiar?

At this point, the forum is still small, but many forum members have been with Roger nearly since its inception. I think this alone speaks of his vision and integrity. Just because the forum is small, doesn't mean that there isn't a wealth of information available on every aspect of marketing. There are now nearly 12,800 posts on everything from the basics like buying domains, changing your name servers, how-to install WordPress, to cutting-edge power linking strategies to kick your traffic and revenues up like you never thought possible.

You can even just join My Affiliate Apprentice for a single month without subscribing for an on-going membership. Check it out, and see why we're vastly different than most other affiliate marketing forums.

I don't like hype, and I don't like pressure. So, I'm not going to give it to you either. Visit my review site to learn more about My Affiliate Apprentice and why I think it may be the best affiliate forum around.

If you join My Affiliate Apprentice through my link, let me know and I will provide you with one-on-one help, including sessions on Skype if you need them. I may even have some special bonuses in store for you up my sleeve!
