My Entrepreneurial Revelation In A Nutshell - To Empower
My Entrepreneurial Revelation In A Nutshell - To Empower
Even as a teenager, I've always sought to be someone that empowers others. Someone that motivates others to do even the very things I couldn't do but constantly wanted to.
Growing up wasn't easy. Harsh neighborhoods, bad influences, and situations that a kid should never see let alone have to go through were just some of the things my two sisters and me had to face.
But even with these obstructions around me, I've always kept a different approach about life. I always knew there was something better out there but just didn't understand what it was.
Coming across many people as I grew up allowed me to see and experience the good and the most awful life has to offer us all.
The one remembrance that will probably never leave my mind is the one of a baseball park, the one across my best friend's (at the time) home.
Police, people screaming, and a shot that rang out are the images that still bounce around my mind. All of this happened at my tender age of 8.
But my visualization of life never changed. I knew that I had a purpose of being here and I was strong-minded to become aware of out what it was, no matter what!
At 17, I graduated high school. At 19, I graduated technical school, which gave me my official recognition in my career as an automotive mechanic, a career decision I still regret to this day.
And as I learned the outcomes of my decisions in life, a vision still remained with me of a life as an entrepreneur, unbound from Corporate America's stronghold.
Although I knew, that even as I felt that within me somewhere was the courage I needed to make something happen, empowering others was nonetheless a burning passion I had.
For this very incentive, I decided to become an entrepreneur, a conclusion I knew was not going to be an easy one but one that I felt will be exceedingly rewarding in empowering others.
I started this entrepreneurial venture merely 3 years ago. In reality, the year that my son was born. I realize, I ought to of done this a lot sooner, but life has a unusual way of telling you when and where to take that added leap of faith.
Fortunately, it was the best decision I ever made. It's given me the opportunity to disclose something I always knew I had but by no means knew that I had what it took to empower others to reaching their goals as well.
At present, life is grand! Even though I'm not even halfway to my goal, I've accomplished so many short term goals and empowered many folks to do the stuff in life they thought they could never do.
At this moment I'm not talking about making miracles happen, but I'm talking about giving someone that little vigor they looked-for to go after what they want out of life, to commence seeing life differently, and to actually begin seeing results from their efforts.
Now that's truly empowering! Seeing others do things even better than I could possibly do is the best feeling in the world. You get a sense of contentment when someone tells you, "I consider you my mentor and I look up to all you do."
For those that know who you are, THANK YOU!
And for those that need someone to give them that push they need to set out making things come about in their life, now is the time, the time for you to initiate making the fundamental sacrifice in yourself at becoming an entrepreneur as well and begin taking charge of YOUR LIFE!
