The day I was told by my optometrist that I had to wear boring eyeglasses for a spot-on vision, the fashionista in me cried bitterly. Nothing could console me. The thought of hiding my beautiful face behind shady and oversized glasses overwhelmed me. After all, what kind of options do you have when it comes to prescription eyewear? But something was bothering and nagging me constantly about my eyeglasses. I was not my feisty self after I put my glasses on.
