My Love For Music

From the time Gavin learned how to speak, till the time he learned how to drive

, he was always involved in some form of music. This passion has developed so much he decided to go to college for music. He had been looking into recording engineer schools, so that he could start making his own music. He was very proud of himself, and looking forward to a bright future.

Gavin's senior year in high school he was excelled at all of his classes and had won awards for his musical talents. He was very excited for his career in music, but very unsure of what school to attend.

Engineering was in Gavin's blood because his father had been an engineer. Gavin wanted to do something similar to his dad, but his love for music was always something that he had to do.

Gavin started researching schools online trying to find one that would work for him and also keep him around his family. During this time Gavin also had a girlfriend that he really did not want to be away from. Gavin knew that he was very young and needed to focus on his school instead of trying to run off and get married.

He took all of the results he had and began applying for every college he thought he could get into. With his talent he wasn't going to have a difficult time. Gavin's hard life was going to become a thing of the past. His graduation was only a few days away, so he was looking forward to a new chapter in his life.

One day at the mailbox Gavin's father noticed an envelope from a school Gavin had been hoping he would get to attend. Gavin's father instantly opened the envelope to see what the answer was to Gavin's schooling. He had been accepted to the school he had been so desperately trying to get into.

Gavin had gotten letters from other schools accepting him, but he felt as though he was still missing out on something. He was happy to be going to college, but music was something he really wanted to do. His father told him to cheer up and not worry.

What Gavin did not know is the minute his dad got the letter, he had made a trip to the school. He showed the principal that Gavin had gotten into one of the top recording engineer schools. The principal insisted on presenting Gavin a special award during graduation. The principal also knew the Gavin did not know about his acceptance into the school. Gavin's entire family was present at his graduation. As Gavin sat waiting to hear his name called so he could go get his diploma he got the shock of a lifetime. When Gavin heard his name attached to the school he wanted to go to, he stood up and realized that his mission was accomplished.
