My Natural Way To Curing Eczema

If you have ever, or know someone who has suffered from eczema you will know how devastating it can be for the sufferer. Eczema is an inflammation of the skin which may cause dryness, flakiness, heat, and probably most importantly,intense itching which is very irritating and causes much discomfort.

I myself have never suffered with this condition although, I have watched my little sister suffer with eczema from a very young age and I must say that I have felt sorry for her every day. She was always having to be careful that she didn't knock her skin whilst playing when we were kids as the slightest knock would cause her severe of pain due to the sores and I would often hear her whimpering at night. She would grimace in pain when my mum bathed and dry her but this was nothing compared to the problems it caused as a teenager. The scabs that would appear due to her constant itching caused her to become isolated from her friends as she believed they made her look ugly.

She and my mum had tried every eczema skin treatment the doctor had suggested, which were apparently the best eczema treatment. From ointments and creams to steroid based creams. Antihistamines, tar based oils (which smell very strong) and even evening primrose oil. She had never considered a more natural eczema cure. These treatment were only suggested when her eczema was mild, when it was at its worst she would have to have wet bandage wraps and ultraviolet treatment in the hospital.

All of these treatments would seem to work for a couple of weeks but then her body would become accustomed to it and the condition would always flare up again soon after, leaving my little sister devastated again!
