My Pet Dog

I like dogs very much

I like dogs very much. I am interested in all kinds of dogs--beautiful or ugly; big or small; long-haired or short-haired; fat or thin; male or female dogs are my favorite creature in this world. I love them so much that I cant use words to express my emotions.

I have a pet dog. He is a boy. His name is Qiuqiu. When I saw his photo, I wanted to keep him. At that time, he was one month old. And he was very fatlike a ball, so I called him Qiuqiu, which means a ball in Chinese. He is yellow, and he is long-haired. Now he is almost eight months old. He is very naughty, and when he meets a stranger, he will bark loudly.

Why do I want to keep a dog? I was very lonely when I lived in the dormitory provided by my company. So I decided to buy a dog to accompany me. I was very lucky and before long I bought a doghe is Qiuqiu. During that time, he was my best friend. I took care of his health, played with him, and fed him. Once, he ate something bad and vomited up all he had eaten. It was night and I had no idea about vets. I was very anxious and I couldnt stop crying. Fortunately, he was all right the second day. From then on, I strictly check what he ate, and he never became sick except that one.

Qiuqiu was a very cute dog in my eyes. But I wanted him loved by my family, so I decided to teach him sit and shake hands with people. I bought some delicious beef jerky and told him if he listed my orders, I would give him some to eat. He was very smart. He learned how to sit and shake hands in one week. Now when my parents stretched their hands towards him, Qiuqiu will put his forepaw into their palms actively.

Qiuqiu sleeps in my bed. And he likes to kiss somebody. As long as your face is closed to him, he will kiss you suddenly. Is he cute? I will keep taking care of him and I hope he will always be lively and healthy.
