Network marketing is all about your ability to transform your network to money and not the other way around, so you would need more wits than money and more charm than capital.

3. Home based network businesses give false promises. - The pyramid strategy that the network marketing scheme employ has been used by companies since the 80s. In fact, there have been numerous successful MLM businesses that have thrived and survived since then like Amway or Mary Kay.


4. It takes one to be intelligent or well-educated to be successful in network marketing. - Having the highest degree or education does not guarantee success in networking. The simplest and foremost principle that has driven most successful businessmen is the passion to achieve their goals. Robert Toru Kiyosaki, Warren Buffet, Carlos Slim Helu and even Bill Gates are just a few examples of the successful businessmen who have proven this principle. These people started in the business with little resources or without doctorate degrees in business administration or marketing. The only common factor they had at first was the goal they have set to achieve and they did over the long run.

5. Success in network marketing is all about effort. - Physics itself has the answer to this myth. One physical principle to learn and apply in network marketing is how power is obtained. According to physicists, power is the rate of the work over a period of time. In a similar manner, you can put it that work is not the only relevant factor in networking but as well as time; that if today you have worked for a million dollar commission, you are a millionaire only today. You would still have to work for tomorrow to stay with such financial power given that you have necessary living expenses.

6. Multi level marketing provides limited access to creativity. - While you would need to follow the business' effective marketing approach and scheme, you would as well need to allow business ideas to crop up as well. Without ingenuity and fresh new ideas in approaching prospects, your ways would soon exhaust the possibilities of converting your efforts to fortune. So creativity is needed in networking.
