NCIS: The Game from the TV Show
People that like to watch crime TV series, especially connected with the Marines
, are probably very fond of NCIS, formerly known as NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service. In the centre of this American police procedural television serial is a fictional team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. The Major Case Response Team prosecutes criminal investigations that involve the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. And besides the fact that the cases are high profiled, very interesting and exiting, the special team that conducts them is consisted from fictional agents with strong and very well built characters. The team is leaded by the Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, former Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, whose wife and daughter were killed while in the protection of NIS. Special Agent Tony DiNozzo, is former police officer and Gibbs considers him as a younger version of himself, charming Abigail "Abby" Sciuto is a Gothic forensics specialist, Timothy McGee is th
e computer hacker, Ziva David is ex solder in the Israeli Army whose sister was killed in a Hamas terrorist suicide bombing when she was sixteen.
And is more that sure that everyone who loves to watch this TV series has asked themselves many times, how is going to be if they were on the place of the crime scene, taking a part of the Gibbs's team, picking up evidences, solving cases Maybe it seams impossible, but everything is possible in the world of the video games. NCSI or more preciously "NCIS: The Game from the TV Show" is aligning to the list of
iPod touch games and iPhone touch games.
"NCIS: The Game from the TV Show" has appeared one month ago and it's picking up good reviews, so far. Could be said that the game is based on the "hidden object games" and the task of the player is to solve 5 exciting cases, developed with the show's creative team. The player becomes member of the team, explores the crime scene, collects evidence, inspects the results in a lab and stakes out potential suspects. All the actions are pretty realistic so the "agent", in a serial of mini games, does matching fingerprints, reconstructing chemical substances, and even autopsies. This is unbelievable opportunity to entrance in Abby's lab to get match molecules to create toxicology reports or in Ducky's lab to examine corpses for wounds and patterns.
One of the more interesting parts of the game is when the player is called upon to interrogate the extra characters and he is able to choose weather he'll be aggressive, neutral or friendly and the goal is to get them to their breaking point. Choosing wrong tactic leads the case to wrong way and a different tactic must be tried, to get the answers out of the suspect.
The graphics and design of the game are pretty good, there's no problem identifying the characters. The music and sound coincide well with the gameplay and scenes as well, so the great fun is guaranteed.
