New York, NY - Rutgers junior defensive tackle Eric LeGrand suffered a spinal-cord

injury in the Scarlet Knights' 23-20 overtime win over Army on Saturday, October 16th and is paralyzed below the neck.

Short films by several talented NYC indie filmmakers will be showcased during the evening.

"I'm a big Rutgers fan and when I heard what happened I knew I wanted to try and do something that would help Eric and his family through this tough ordeal." said Daron Jenkins, SCENEPR! CEO/Founder.

"We encourage people to come out and mix & mingle next week, ut of course the most important thing is to help this important fund and help provide Eric with positive support so that he can focus on getting healthy again. We wish him all the best and our thoughts are with him and his family."
