There are some important criteria that international students should look for in a university and they can help you to narrow down your choices to the most sensible ones available.

Class Size

The size of classes at the university you attend will make a big difference to you as a international student. Smaller classes mean that your professors have more time to spend making sure that you're taking in all of the material expected and that you don't get stuck in any difficult spots. It also allows you to get to know your fellow students much easier, and they will oftentimes be willing to help you along.

Scholarships

Some universities make a very deliberate effort to attract international students. In fact, some of the smaller universities make a much more dedicated effort toward accommodating international students than the larger ones do. The only way to really find out is to talk directly to the university. Ask if you can speak to the staff that is responsible for helping international students.
