With no sign of an acne treatment that cures acne on the horizon, it is up to you to deal with the unsightly acne outbreaks. When zits, pimples, spots and acne breakout, there are some over the counter acne treatments that work but there are some natural remedies that work too.

Applying live natural yoghurt to the skin helps sooth and heal particularly after a camomile steam bath has opened up the sebaceous glands.

It is a great idea to try some natural remedies at home first. One of them may just be the answer to clearing up your acne. although often medicated treatments or medications will help in the long run, it is always a great idea to try the natural remedies first.

Getting a pimple every now and again is not a major issue,but if your blemishes do not respond to over the counter treatments within three months or your skin becomes severely inflamed or painful, and large fluid filled lumps appear, then it is a good idea to seek medical advice.
