While writing the NCERT solution, students should refer to the official marking scheme by the CBSE. Usually the questions that are asked in the CBSE examinations are either from the NCERT text books directly or are based on concepts tested therein. Therefore, while writing the NCERT solutions students can even refer to the previous years papers and the official marking scheme and attempt to understand as to what is usually expected from certain kinds of questions.

Students can even refer to the readymade NCERT solution booklet that is made available by a variety of publishers. There are also a few websites that provide free NCERT solutions to students studying under CBSE. These free NCERT solutions are framed according to the solution guidelines by NCERT. The text in the free NCERT solution is adequately supported by well labeled illustrations that help students frame complete answers.
