As former World Number One, Tiger Woods is not a good golf player who is welcomed by golf fans around the golf world. This week's mailbag had several missives complaining about too much Tiger Woods coverage or just negative about Woods in general.

Here are some bad news about Tiger Woods:

Honestly, do you get paid to just talk about Tiger? The party is over. Move on. It seems the media is still living in the past. Too many good stories, too many good golfers. And by the way, there has never been and never will be a Tiger-Phil rivalry. Neither one of them can live up to Palmer and Nicklaus' class. ESPN, The Golf Channel, CBS are all way behind the times, in favor of ratings.

Woods will NEVER be as good as he once was. Too high of a standard. He may break Jack's record but will never be looked at like Jack is. No one is afraid of him anymore ... too many guys that hit it farther, straighter and more accurately than him that are younger.

How long do the media have to keep taking note of Tiger while writing their tourney stories, or training their TV cameras on him? When do we decide he is just another pro golfer on the Tour? My guess is next January, assuming he stays winless in 2011.

Will you please tell me where he thinks his game is getting better? Frankly all I see is bogey, double bogey one after the other, and the putting is worse than worse. People are going to start getting sick paying top dollar to seeing such terrible play from him.

There was Tiger bashing when he was winning everything in sight, the No. 1 player in the world, the guy getting the majority of the attention. But it has gone to another level now that he is struggling. Whenever a story is written about Woods or the television cameras focus on him too much or the discussion turns to Tiger, the negativity spews.
