NCM can even be set so there are regular backups; if a configuration change ends up being a problem you will be able to revert that modification on the fly so that a problem is taken care of ASAP.

Most problems in a network are derived from configuration changes. It is an inevitable fact that problems will occur when making changes, so why not be on top of the solution right away? Being able to back out of a problem as soon as you get into one can really make you and your colleagues shine when the pressure is on.
