Network Marketing Recruitment Tips | How To Stand Out!
Network Marketing Recruitment Tips | How To Stand Out!
Does this sound familiar to you? "Make a list of 100 names of your friends, family, barber, mail man, people you when to high school with, ect." Or have you bought or generated leads on line, but are either too scared to call them. Or have you actually worked up the nerve to call them, but end the call with the same outcome"No Thank You, I'm not interested."
I just want to let you know that is common to many people in the network marketing industry. I went through the same thing. Having leads is only half of the equation; you have to know what to do with those leads in order to have success in network marketing. To win in this industry you have to talk to large amounts of people. More importantly, you have to know what to say or else you will find yourself talking to hundreds of people and only sponsoring a small percentage of the people you talk to.
Many of us go out to do our business and when we meet prospects the first thing we want to do is to pitch our business to them, because they look like they would be a good fit. How far do you think that approach will get you? Even when you are brand new, one thing you never want to do is to appear desperate, even if you are desperate. You are the one sitting on a pot of gold and the fact is that your prospect needs you more than you need them.
There is an art to network marketing recruitment that I did not learn I stumbled upon a video interview with master recruiter Mark Wieser. Just to give you a scope of Mark's expertise, on average network marketers sponsor between 3 and 5 new reps a month. Mark Wieser has cracked the code and has been able to personally sponsor 10 to 20 new reps, that is 254 reps a year, into his network marketing business. In this interview he shares how he is able to sponsor that many reps almost effortlessly.
Once I finished watching this interview, well I watched it like three times, it was clear to me what I was doing wrong and what I need to change. You don't want to approach your prospect like every other network marketer has approached them. You want to stand out and be different. The reverse marketing strategies that Mark shares in the video interview are just genius. You have to start thinking of yourself as the true CEO of your business that you are.
By changing my approach and posture during a conversation, it is rare that I get rejected by prospects to join my network marketing company. Network marketing recruitment is no longer a dreadful task to me and I have been sponsoring more reps than ever before into my business. I am actually being thanked by prospects after our conversations.
Network marketing recruitment is not hard to do if you know the right way to do it, the fun way. The best way to learn how to do it the right way is from someone who knows how to recruit and knows how to recruit well.
