Network Marketing Today verses Network mamarketing of Yesterday---Good---Bad?

Network Marketing Today verses Network mamarketing of Yesterday---Good---Bad

?

Network today allows the multilevel marketer to expand his business

globally, even though he may not know anyone personally in countries

foreign to him. It does this mainly through the internet. One can

solicit MLM business partners or sell MLM information via the internet

and reach potentially millions of MLM business partners.

The old school method termed, "belly to belly" recruiting refers to

face to face conversation with the MLM prospect. This method prior to

the advent of the internet was used to recruit network marketers and

sell MLM information. It is still widely used today by those that are

comfortable doing business this way. Perhaps they fear using the

internet.

Daegan Smith, famed network marketer and internet guru, reveals how

the internet has now become a welcome option for his former MLM

sponsor/mentor Ned Rae, formerly MLM distributor for Success

university. Ned refuse to use the internet to solicit busness

partners or to sell MLM information. He was a devout, "belly to

belly" network marketer. In his mind he was convinced that this was

the only way to successfully recruit until he was saddle with

hepatitis C. Hepatitis C would subsequently confine Ned to the

hospital having to wait for a liver transplant. While being bed

ridden Ned would see his 28,000 Success university business dwindle

down to the depths of the abyss. NOW Ned would welcome the idea of

using the internet as a meaningful tool in his network marketing

business. It took these happenstances to wake Ned up to the

possibilties that avail themselves via the internet.

Here are four pieces of advice that Daegan suggested for Ned in regard to

Ned using the internet for his direct sales business.

Advice from Daegan

1. Lead with value.

Create a lead capture page. Put a recording together sharing his story of

success that led him to the brink of death. This will create

posture, personality and rapor.

2. Communicate daily.

Talk to your leads to establish a rapor.

3. Package knowledge.

Ned in order to stabilize and control more of his income must

create a different

dynamic with his prospects. Ned must be more out front with his

knowledge.

He must be the face that his prospects mainly connect with, NOT the MLM

company.

4. Get paid what you are worth.

Daegan suggested Ned move to a high ticket item where his income will be

satisfied marketing a higher dollar product or services. This

will put Ned in the

neighborhood with a higher dollar client, who understands

investing in their

MLM business and buying front end products from Ned so via the internet.

Higher dollar clients pay for these products easily because they

believe the

products or information will benefit them.

In summation one can conclude that the internet is a vital cog in

network marketing

today. And that the "belly to belly" method of old is still useful

but can have its limitations.
