Never Been Married and Meeting People Over 50

My sister has never been married and some people have hinted that there is something wrong with her. Meeting people over 50 is never easy for a woman who has never been married.

She has two cats, and I guess that she is the cliche that people ridicule. She never got married because she was afraid of divorce. Some of her friends has told her that she is silly for not getting involved. Recently, she has started to agree.

Loneliness is a hard burden to bear after 50. It is not that she hasn't had any boyfriends or men to date. It is just that none of them lasted long enough for her to get married to. They were some great guys over the years. She had some great times with them also. Some of them promised to love her forever. I guess forever turned out to be too long. Not one of them lasted longer than a few years. Now that she is over 50, she's finding that having no man in the house is depressing.

She has a couple of good friends that she spends time with on a regular basis, and they tell her that she needed to put herself out there. So, she tried online dating at their behest. She did not know which one to pick, so she just picked one that she had heard was pretty popular. It just turned out to be the best decision of her life.

She never has been one to move fast in any dating relationship she's had with men. When she met Jack, her life changed. She actually felt that feeling that poets have described in so many different ways. It was like floating on cloud nine. She never wanted to come down.

Jack and my sister hit it off immediately. She never believed in love at first sight, but I think I can honestly say that they have comes pretty darn close. I think that meeting people over 50 should be done online. Jack and my sister laugh when they talk about how we met. However, I know they would have never met without online dating.
