The word "Fashion" holds different meaning for every different person

. Where it might mean the feel good factor to one person another might define it as following latest trends set by the fashion icons and superstars.

Adhering to Fashion has become the unsaid and untold norm and a subtle sort of compulsion for today's society. It won't be an exaggeration if fashion is called the new religion for the "enlightened and more aware" youth of today.

The word fashion has long since been associated for the feminine, the ladies. This statement though correct to some extent is not the complete truth. Men like to pursue fashion the same way as women but the difference is in their modest attitude as they don't flaunt. They follow fashion to their desires and consider more on the comfortable feel rather than going for the "in thing".

So the fashion trends will be discussed here from the feminine perspective as they are basically the ambassadors of fashion. Another reason accounting for the ladies pursuing fashion more than men is that the element of beauty and sensitivity has always been associated to them.

The trends which will be followed in 2009 by the fashion industry are:

Head gear will be en-vogue and pursued with the same passion by the fashion lovers in 2009 like foot wear especially the "gladiator sandal" in 2008. This fact is pretty evident from the various fashion shows and catwalk all around the globe from New York to Milan. Head gear consisting of hats, scarves or head bands in accordance with the colors of your outfit coupled with some ribbons of contrasting colors would be in fashion this year i.e. 2009.

Those weary and undecided of using hats would be advised to for the bright colored scarves.

Most importantly Gold is going to be the color of the fashion industry for 2009 and will be used in every imaginable accessory and clothing. It will be evident in dresses, shoes, head gears, handbags and everything else imaginable. One of the heart throbbing dresses for 2009 would be a golden gown worn with black shoes and accessorized with large sized glittery hand bag to give you the red carpet and celebrity feel.

The existing wardrobe could be updated economically by using your black dresses with the flashy golden belts and sandals. This look can be stressed upon further by applying golden tone eye shadows and dark lashes.

Coming to the most dominant accessory of one's dressing; the jewelry this year is going to be larger than the normal sized. This includes large diamonds and stones used. Extremely large-sized earrings, elaborately designed necklaces, bracelets adorned with stones and brooches are not going to raise any eye-brows and will be the fashion accessories.

The fashion scene in Asia in 2009 promises to be very trendsetting, and offers an array of options for those looking to change their look and style. Whether it be shoes, scarves, bold colors or jewelry, you can be sure that fashion in Asia this year is alive and well.
