In 2008, SaverSystems launched the DEFY Extreme Crystal Clear Wood Stain

. The product has become a leading seller for the company. The stain has since been improved with the latest Nano Technology, making it an even more durable and protective stain that is also VOC compliant. In Spring of 2010 these new pigments will be available for purchase. The Extreme Wood Stain is availbe now in Cedar Tone, Light Walnut, and Natural Pine to enhance the look of your deck. These colors also match the exisiting DEFY Epoxy Fortified Wood Stain pigments.

The DEFY Extreme Wood Stain's Nano Technology is state of the art and creates a new level of durability unmatched by other wood stain finishes. Although new to the DEFY line, there is nothing premature about this stain or the protection it provides. This innovative and high performance product employs this Nano Technology in order to protect against damaging Ultra violet (UV) rays from the sun. UV rays will alter the pigment of the wood, turning it gray. Wood damaged by the sun actually becomes more susceptible to water penetration, which induces decay, mold, and algae growth. This gray color is an eyesore, and protecting your deck or other outdoor wood project before it reaches this point is strongly recommended.

This new stain is formulated with zinc oxide particles to reflect these harmful rays from your wood. The Nano technology involved is actually invisible to the naked eye and are distributed over your wood at an incredible rate of 20 trillion particles per square inch for maximum protection. This amazing coverage blocks out UV rays like sunscreen protects skin. The Crystal Clear Extreme Wood Stain dries completely clear. Some clear stains claim to be clear but wind up tinting the wood a bit, but the Crystal Clear version allows you to retain the natural beauty of your wood for as long as possible. These up and coming pigments will add pigment to the wood, enhancing its look, while protecting it.

DEFY Epoxy Fortified Wood Stain and the Extreme Wood Stain are an extremely powerful pair that not only match in color but add improved long-term durability that is fade resistant. When you combine the Nano technology of the Extreme Stain with the Power of Epoxy Fortified Wood Stain the result is an uncomparably beautiful deck that is better protected than it ever has been able to be before. One gallon of the DEFY Extreme Wood Stain covers approximately 100-150 sq. ft. and must be applied between 45 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit. A pump sprayer, airless sprayer, pad applicator, or brush can be used to apply the product, and it needs 2-4 hours to dry (although it is recommended to wait a full 24 hours before replacing deck furniture or walking on it.)
