New Economy Jamaica Hotel Mystic Ridge Resort To Open Soon
The former Crane Ridge Comfort Suites has been remodelled to be converted into an
economy hotel and will reopen its doors to guests on 15th December with a new name: Mystic Ridge Resort. The 135-room property, located in Ocho Rios and beautifully perched upon a stunning breezy hillside, is a promising new option for those looking for budget Jamaica hotels. The newly transformed hotel offers deluxe hotel rooms and apartment rentals. The company behind the conversion of this hotel is Mystic Ridge Jamaica Ltd. who owns the resort and the nearby well-known Mystic Mountain Rainforest Adventures.
Mike Drakulich, Chairman and Managing Director of Mystic Mountain Rainforest Adventures stated that this recovery was an attempt to salvage tourism in the region of Ocho Rios. We are reinvesting in Ocho Rios because we believe in its strength and remarkable offerings as a tourism destination to showcase Jamaica adventures, beaches, dining and entertainment, he said.
This resurgence is thanks in large part to the people of this community who take great pride in its natural beauty, remarkable hospitality and unique experiences, and Mystic Ridge Resort will serve to capture this exact essence of Ocho Rios.
The soon-to-open resort is a great economical option for those who are on a tight budget and wish to relax in the beautiful Caribbean without a hefty price tag. With rates from 23rd December to 9th April starting from $95 for standard room per night, single/double and including a complimentary breakfast, the prices are reasonable for enjoyable and cheap Jamaica holidays. Mystic Ridge Resort will open with 22 new standard and five new deluxe rooms, 10 one-bedroom apartments and 10 two-bedroom apartments. Other 57 rooms may be made available in the future through private owners taking part in a rental pool.
The construction of the resort is expected to end in time for the beginning of the winter tourism season in December. All hotel rooms will be decorated with colourful, locally-designed linens and accents, and will feature renovated layouts, balconies and magnificent views of Ocho Rios and the Caribbean Sea. Adjoining rooms can be made available for large groups and guests will be able to enjoy the strikingly beautiful green forest surrounding the property, with a clear-water stream snaking along the side.
Presenting tourists on holidays to Jamaica with some fun and adventurous options, the newly-furnished and decorated resort will be located down the road from the well-known Rainforest Bobsled attraction at Mystic Mountain. The Mystic Mountains sky-explorer chair lift supplies sightseers with stunning views of the coastline as it travels over and through the tropical forest canopy. The chair takes them from sea-level up to the top of the amusement park at 700 feet for the exciting and unique Jamaica bobsled ride and zip-lining.
In short, Mystic Ridge Resort presents a new and wonderful option for guests who wish to spend affordable Jamaica holidays with non-stop fun activities. In addition to all perks and all of the resorts fun activities, by booking a one week stay, guests will also be able to benefit from daily free entry at the park. A complimentary shuttle will also offer transport to Mystic Mountain, the beaches, plus other local attractions and hotspots.
