Ford is one of the oldest and most famous names in the car manufacturing industry

. Finding a model that suits is easier than one might think. With many models to choose from, many dealers will happily arrange a test drive with a reasonable amount of notice. The models in the Ford family range from the small cars such as the Ka and the Fiesta, to the larger models such as the Fusion or Mondeo. One of the most popular models of new Ford cars is the Focus. This car has many of the features that many expect in a top of the range vehicle. For driver convenience, the Focus has the warning light to tell that the door is ajar and an electric boot release as well as a warning to say that the lights are on. In addition, there is PAS and a trip computer. The car is fitted with six speakers for the CD player and there are audio controls on the steering column.

On the exterior of the car, the radiator grille is black mesh and the body side mouldings are the same colour as the car, as are the bumpers. In addition, there are adjustable wing mirrors that are heated and the front windows are electric. The headlights can be levelled electronically and there is a rear bumper scratchpad moulding.

The interior of the car has four-speed fans that include direction control and demist vents on the side windows. The rear seat is split and there are adjustable headrests in the rear of the car. The air conditioning is CFC-free, and the interior door handles have an aluminium finish. There is a light in the boot of the car as with many new Ford cars, and there are grab handles in the front and the rear of the car.

When looking at new Ford vehicles, safety is a major consideration and the Focus has ABS and an advanced restraint system as well as airbags for the passenger and driver. The rear doors can have the childproof door locks if needed and there are side curtain airbags for added protection. The car also has a PATS (passive anti-theft system) for added peace of mind for the owner and remote central double locking system for additional security.
