New: Free Animal Trapping In Orlando Florida
Bats, opossum, raccon...
Bats, opossum, raccon...
Yes, everyone loves those cute little critters, and it's
kinda fun (especially for kids) to think you've gone one
living with you, sharing your home.
At least, that's how it CAN seem. The reality is
different.
Because the truth is these are all dirty, filthy wild
animals carrying diseases and parasites. They can (and
WILL) damage your home, and can (and frequently DO)
bite.
And their bites aren't just painful... because they can
actually be FATAL (never mind all the other infections
you can get... all these filthy critters can carry the
dreaded
and deadly rabies virus (There was a case of an animal
with rabies in Charlotte County this year. Rabies shows
up in a wild animal around here every year. And I know
you for a fact don't want it in YOUR home posing a
threat to you and your kids.
And if that wasn't enough, here are 3 more reasons you
really do NOT want one of these filthy little creatures
living in your home:
- more often than we'd like, one of these vicious
animals attacks, maims and even kills a beloved
family pet.
- they can attack and seriously injure a child or
grandchild. A child doesn't have a chance against
those teeth, I'm telling you.
- these vicious animals can and do attack the
homeowner (that's YOU!). These attacks can lead to
permanent injury or, in some cases, even death! No
doubt about it... having animals nest in your home
can bring tragic results. So why even take the
chance?
- the Wild animals nesting in your attic are full of
diseases and parasites and when they start leaving
urine and scat in your attic, you run the risk of
picking up all sorts of nasties.
Right now you're probably saying to yourself, "Is it
really that bad? I mean, seriously, can these "cute"
little fellows be THAT dangerous, and truly cause all
that damage. It sounds to me like you just don't like
cute, cuddly animals"
Nothing could be further from the truth. I actually love
animals. I think they're cute (even... maybe ESPECIALLY
the ugly ones) and I know each one of them serves a
critical link in the ecology here in Florida.
But, I also know wild animals (remember, they don't get
veterinary care or cleaned!) can hurt us. They are wild
and untamed. That means they will attack you if they
feel threatened.
So when a child at your home sees a animal and thinks
"Oh it's Meeko!" (the raccoon character from Disney's
Pocahontas) and maybe approaches this WILD ANIMAL, he or
she runs the VERY real risk of getting bit, scratched
and even seriously injured. Or worse.
Truth is, you can not afford to take the risk of
having sharing your home, no matter how "cute", "cuddly"
and "ecologically sound" you think it all is.
Don't take the risk: get rid of them. And fast!
