The model has been noticed in its present form around for some period but now the Benz people have provided a facelift to this model for a new fresh look. The new facelifted Mercedes Benz C-Class was seen being tested on roads. This new form of the model displays some noticeable, interesting and impressive features. A fresh new design has been provided to the head lamps of this model. The bonnet and the front bumper have been provided tweaks. The tail lamps of this facelifted Mercedes Benz C Class have also been restyled. Slight changes have been done in the interiors to give it the finish it requires. However, the engine options of the new version remain all the same. Also, till now, there is no update from Daimler regarding that. But still, the new version of this Mercedes product will be having a seven speed transmission instead of the earlier five speed transmission. As per the industry sources, the new version of Mercedes Benz C-Class will probably be unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show of 2011 which will also include the latest addition to the C range- the Mercedes Benz C Class Coupe. The facelifted Mercedes Benz C-Class model is speculated to hit the Indian shores sometime during the summers of the year 2011. The C Class model is the leader of its segment. It is also a strong fact that the model contributes about half of the total sales of Mercedes Benz India. Though, at present, the C-Class is facing certain competition from the BMW 3 series but the new facelifted model is expected to make things smooth and easy for Mercedes Benz. Presently, the Mercedes Benz C-Class is available with 3 model variants which include the Mercedes Benz C 220 CDI, Mercedes Benz C 200 KOMPRESSOR and Mercedes Benz C 63 AMG. Among all these three variants, Mercedes Benz MODEL variants Mercedes Benz C 63 AMG is a better version as its quite powerful than others.
