Milus amazed the whole watch-making world when it launched the original Tirion TriRetrograde Watch

. Featuring three 20 second retrograde dials on the dial, the watch is one of the most popular models ever created by the brands. And it greatly contributes to the popularity that Milus owns today. Its iconic design has been applied on the other Milus timepieces in past few years as well. This year, Milus took a great deal of time to rework and trim this iconic watch and present a new version.

Basically, the new Milus Tirion TriRetrograde Watch is not a completely original. It keeps most of the basic features of the previous version but is added with some new details. Compared with the previous version, it looks more elegant with improved lines and curves.

The 45mm case, made from high quality stainless steel, comes with a similar style but feels much more eye-pleasing and comfortable to wear. The central zone of the white dial, with nice wave pattern, contains three 20 second retrograde dials that fixed by blue screws. The zone also allows a peep to the movement with an open-work design. The 12-hour ring is composed of alternating Arabic numerals and stick markers and a small date aperture at 4:30. The dial is available in several colors. And my favorite is the cream white one.

Presented on a classic alligator strap, the watch is powered by a Swiss automatic movement that contains an exclusive Milus module for the TriRetrograde complication.

While the original model is a nice combo of contemporary and classic designs, the new Milus Tirion TriRetrograde Watch stands out with a future-oriented style.
