New Supravizio Bpm Processes Portal Available On Tablets And Smartphones

Following the trends and needs that arise with process-based management systems nowadays

, which are also directly related to user behavior, Venki Technologies has just finished making Supravizio easier. A new feature, to become available in December, offers clients the perspective of using functions already present in the software through the creation of a customizable portal, which can be accessed from mobile devices.

According to Wallace Oliveira, Venki Technologies CEO, the new feature came up from clients' need of having a portal with great customization capabilities and from the increasing use of new technologies, such as tablets and smartphones. The clients' demand for a portal that's adaptable to their needs is noteworthy. We've seen how mobile devices have been getting better and also how they're being used more often by executives. Therefore, we've invested in uniting these two possibilities in our tool, so that it is closer to our clients' use case scenarios, Wallace remarks.

As Venki CEO says, besides reinforcing the well-known flexibility of Supravizio, the possibility of creating a portal that's integrated to the new technologies amplifies the possibilities of the interface, ensuring that specific demands are met more simply and swiftly. Programmar Ricardo Guimares Filho, responsible for developing the feature, sees things the same way. He mentions the usability and the responsiveness of the portal, meant to be used in a variety of devices. The system administrator will be able to assemble the menu structure and create pages in which it is possible to add a kind of content we're calling modules, in even three different schemes: mobile, tablet or classic, giving the portal a responsive design, he explains.

This functionality is part of the module pack that Supravizio clients can use to bring this group of features to their portals:

* Opening new processes, which can be done with an assisting interface or through direct access to forms about specific processes;

* Researching with improvements on searching and navigating;

* Approval forms completely redesigned for tablets and optimized for phones;

* Publishing reports: a user will be able to create reports with graphs and texts;

* HTML editor: it allows for the creation of HTML content without the need of technical knowledge.

In 2013 new modules will be released, among which we can highlight searching in process documentation, searching on a knowledge database, user chat and many others.
