Usually, new contact lenses should be saturated in certain solution for several hours. This is because some special substances might be left on lenses in the making and packaging process. Moreover, these lenses should also be rinsed with saline solution.

But one thing should be remembered that hygiene is the foremost important aspects to be noticed. Wash hands and dry them. This is because any dirt, bacteria or virus on hands might cause further eye infection.

Before inserting, lenses can be put in the center of hands and squeezed in the form of an arch by fingertips. The top parts of lenses should be kept in a horizontal position. Of course, different fingers can play different role- the index finger can help more. After that, lenses can be easily and gently inserted into eyes. Then, blink for some time- blinking can help eyes fit lenses much better. Then it comes to the other eye.

In most cases, new users may feel uncomfortable when lenses are firstly inserted. Therefore, in the first few times, lenses should not be worn for too much long time, so as to allow eyes to adapt the new condition. If there is any discomfort or irritation, some lubricating drops might be helpful. Or there is any other unusual symptom, just visit eye doctors for help.
