"Stuck", written and directed by Amelia Samuel, is a movie that takes place between new years eve 2012 and the 2013 New Years DC. The movie is primarily set in Washington D.C., and the main characters are Annabelle Lee (played by Georgia Rogers) and Mark Letham (played by Harris Stewart). The time-travel plot of "Stuck" is unlike any other movie you have ever seen.

It is the morning of January 1st, 2013. United States President Mark Letham wakes up, looks around, and finds himself in a pile of rubble. He can see the capitol building to his left and the top of the Washington Monument to his right. It is obvious that the city was destroyed, but how? Why? What happened in d.c. new years eve?

While Mark is contemplating how he ended up in the mess he is in, out of nowhere appears a short brunette girl with a slightly unkempt appearance. She speaks the words "New Years DC, 2013" into a small tape recorder in her right hand. "Who are you?" Mark asks. The girl tells him she is Annabelle Lee. She says she "is the future". Then Mark asks her where she came from, and she replies, "I am from the past."

Annabelle is a self-proclaimed hippie from the outskirts of the Washington DC metropolitan area. She has the most unusual supernatural power; she has the ability to travel to the future and back. Utilizing Mark's Harvard knowledge of politics and the world and Annabelle's intellectual and supernatural powers, the two work together to find out how the events that took place on New Years Eve in DC resulted in the city being demolished. Despite their opposing views, they overcome conflict and save the world.

"Stuck" is the must-see New Years DC movie of the year. It is a highly suspenseful action movie with lots of twists and curveballs. You will want to watch it over, and over, and over again. At the end, you will wonder whether or not it is truly a fictional piece or if it could really be Amelia Samuel's prophetic prediction about the rebirth of the world.
