A new age of touch screen bathroom vending machines may soon be coming to a toilet near you.

U*TIQUE has designed toilet vending machines with a difference as they feature a touch screen interface and have highly effective LED lighting design.

The most unique part of these new bathroom vending machines however is the fact that there is an internal robot that will deliver the products to the customer- think Toy Story's The Claw' but in robot form.

With a touch screen the machines are able to feature innovative video demos of the products inside the machines and they are also able to list ingredients and profiles of the different brands.

As the consumer is actually able to see the products and learn a bit about them before they buy them, the whole shopping experience is enhanced.

The machines are also very attractive and eye catching to those people passing by in a hotel lobby or a nightclub toilet. Inside, the products themselves are displayed behind diamond and circular shaped bubbles which change colour when selected by the consumer.

These machines will feature luxury brands and goods which will appeal to the luxury shopper. For instance, U*TIQUE has partnered with renowned luxury brands such as Bliss, Lancome and Chantecaille. They will provide products such as skincare items, premium chocolate, iPods and energy supplements.

By placing the machines in high traffic areas such as gyms, shopping centres, nightclubs and luxury hotels, the company is hoping to appeal to a consumer who is often very short of free time due to a hectic lifestyle.

Speaking recently, the 29 year old creator of the brand, Mara Segal said: "I wanted to bring luxury personal care products to women who are racing from a hotel to a meeting or a workout and perhaps forgot a lip balm."
