R11 had a red adjustable plate on the sole that allowed golfers to choose from three face angles, the R11S has five settings: Neutral, Open, Closed, Slightly Open (Open+), and Slightly (Closed+).
The white crown makes the R11S appear 2% larger, which increases confidence at address. The modern-classical clubhead shape is designed for better players, whilst still offering forgiveness and confidence to average players. The R11S is a slightly more triangular shaped head than traditional drivers providing a higher MOI and a centre of gravity that is farther-back and deeper in the club.
TaylorMade says the R11S driver is adjustable to 80 different launch settings, including adjusting the loft to five different settings, three-quarters of a degree at a time; changing the face angle up to plus-or-minus six degrees; and moving the center of gravity location enough to effect up to 20 years of side-to-side trajectory change. Tuning, you can independently tune loft, face angle and flight path your swing.
Based on the solid foundations of the existing R11 driver, the new models Adjustable Sole Plate adds another two settings to the club so golfers can now change the face angle of the club to either a neutral, slightly open, open, closed, or slightly closed position.

The TaylorMade R11S driver comes in lofts of 9, 10.5 and adjustable sleeve that connects the shaft to the head can be set in a Neutral, Higher or Lower setting, with the 9- and 10.5-degree versions also available in left-handed.
