World Renowned Chef to helm Legendary Niagara Falls Restaurant

Celebrated Chef and TV Host Massimo Capra has signed on to lend his name and impressive culinary resume to the legendary Fallsview Rainbow Dining Room in Niagara Falls.

Most noted as the host of the Food Networks popular series "Restaurant Makeover", Capra, will guide the spectacular Fallsview restaurant through an upcoming renovation project and rebranding. Located across from the Falls on the 10th floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel Niagara Falls-Fallsview, the Rainbow Rooms long and storied past includes playing host to both Hollywood Royalty and Heads of State-everyone from the Jonas Brothers to King George VI and Queen Elizabeth have dined at the restaurant which showcases extraordinary Niagara ingredients, award winning Niagara wine pairings and an inspiring panoramic view of Niagara Falls.

"Rainbow Room by Massimo Capra" will be an exciting adventure in culinary arts and is expected to provide guests with an unforgettable dining experience when the restaurant opens under his direction this summer.

Massimo Capras extensive culinary CV includes his roles as executive chef and co-owner of two well established Toronto restaurants: Mistura and Sopra Upper Lounge, distinguished author, host and guest expert on numerous television programs.

The Fallsview Rainbow Dining Rooms long history dates back to the opening on July 1, 1929 as the hotel restaurant at Niagara Falls first luxury hotel, the General Brock Hotel which would later become the Brock Plaza Hotel before joining the InterContinental Hotels Group and re-branding as the Crowne Plaza Hotel Niagara Falls-Fallsview. Situated in the heart of the tourist district, on the 20 Falls Avenue Complex in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada, the Rainbow Room and Crowne Plaza feature indoor walkways to Casino Niagara, Fallsview Indoor Waterpark and the numerous dining and attraction options on North Americas Largest Hotel and Indoor Waterpark Entertainment Complex.

Summer 2010 looks to be a great season for the Falls Avenue Complex, located just steps away from the American and Canadian Falls, separated only by the Oakes Garden Theatre, which plans to be a venue for great Musical and Celebrity appearances in the coming months.
