On the contrary, in the Warring Period, the Taoist leader, Zhuangzi, had put forward a different concept in terms of true self. For him, only when one was able to have a merge in nature had he got hold of the true self. The true self exists in the converting to nature. A lot of other intellectuals have been in tiring exploration for self. And the present literati have put forward the phrase of modernism and postmodernism. Of course, all the theories are the reflection on the self and the world. They are all given birth with great pains and labours.

Each period has its inimitable and remarkable qualities due to the arduous work of intellectuals. Yet, the sky of the current period seems to be not so bright and clear. The current time is an age of no personality. This is an epoch that simulation is flooding. This is an age that persons are lazy in thinking. The normal people are too obsessed with the collection of resources. Vanity like fame and power has been their goal at all times. But on the ground of ideology, there are quite a few persons ploughing bitterly. Nevertheless, it is pleasing to realize that the Nike corporation has been spreading to us its philosophic notion.
