The vibration reduction feature is for image stabilization while taking pictures.The outcome is blur free image.

The main features are built in projector, smart portrait skin softening for flattering images, sharp pictures with 5X advanced image stabilizer, automatic shooting modes, instant touchup of the pictures in camera, adjusting scene effects and in built slide show with sounds. It has more than 15 automatic shooting modes, which automatically senses the surrounding, without having to adjust the setting manually. This is a feature that makes the camera sets apart from the league. Most of the cameras have portrait, landscape, and close-up and sports mode. This camera model offers features like snow, sunset, back light, beach, music, food, fireworks, night portrait, night landscape, panorama assist, dawn, and dusk and copy modes. The digital video format is H.264. It has a maximum video resolution of 1280X720. The image recording format is JPEG. It accepts composite audio and video interfaces.
