Those who often shake a little while holding their camera will definitely find this feature nothing short of an ingenious improvement.

You may also dig the fact that the designers of the Nikon D60 cared to rework its display function for the better. Its new Info button is capable of bringing up Status Display as well as activating the cameras submenu function. Aside from this reworked display features, the Nikon D60 also has other excellent features such as the Assign Function Button, Assign AutoExposure-Lock Button, AutoFocus-Lock Button, Long ExposureNoise Reduction Control, and the highly impressive Set Picture Control function. Accessing or shifting from one function to another requires a mere click of a button. And thanks to the improved display function, all of the functions that you need to access can be easier to find.

One of the greatest surprises that come with the new Nikon D60 is its movie recording features. Even those who will initially get cynical about it will instantly become a convert once they have tried this brilliant feature. The presence or inclusion of a Live Mode viewing function adds more appeal to this superb feature. The improved resolution and ISO of the Nikon D60 also adds more benefit to the already terrific movie viewing function of the camera. The Nikon D60 is also faster than, say a D80. It has a 4.5 frames/second maximum frame rate that makes it 50% faster than the D80.
