The Japanese car maker Nissan started operation way back in 1933

The new car, Nissan Micra will be developed at the Chennai plant in India and will be sold both in the country and overseas.

Nissan Motors has been doing pretty well in the country and now has plans of rolling out plenty more new car models on the Indian roads. Since its debut in India in 2004, Nissan has witnessed a growth of over 200 per cent. The sales figures too show steep climbs. Nissans journey from Japan to India has proved to be a big success.
