PrakashKaur felt honored and abundantly pleased when her home was being visited by Nita Ambani, wife of leading business tycoon Mukesh Ambani who owns Indias biggest conglomerate Reliance Industries. While Nita Ambani for years has stood up for societal needs as an active philanthropist, this visit made evident the munificence and the warmth with which she embraces such acts. This first lady of corporate India promised to meet PrakashKaur and her home after being overwhelmed with the struggle and passion of the latter who was awarded at the Real Heroes Award Function that was organized by CNN- IBN in association with Reliance Industries Limited. This felicitation ceremony that is held every year to applaud all the unsung heroes of the country who struggle to bring about a change in the society felicitated PrakashKaur for her phenomenal efforts. This determined lady has devoted her entire life by serving as a mother to the many orphanage girls who have no one to count on or take care of. Nita Ambani being impressed by this compassion and benevolence of PrakashKaur promised to pay a visit to this home and daunted everyone by keeping up her promise and taking time out for this visit.
Right from holding hands of the kids at the entrance to personally encouraging all of them to believe in their dreams, she made these girls feel special. Other than stopping at both the set up of this home, she witnessed the striking dance performances and even joined then enthusiastically. Gifting those children toys from the London based company Hamleys; she thrilled them to the core. The charming charts, the innocent smiles and the pink white shawl that the daughters of Unique Home gifted her manifested their love towards Nita Ambani. When asked about the experience, she instantly stated that she was touched and felt humbled by PrakashKaurs simplicity and genuineness. She felt short of words when she had to verbalize her experience and appreciated PrakashKaurtime and again for the courage she has portrayed all these years.
Right from the 3 month old infant to the girls who have been married from this home, each one of them exhibit the compassion and strength of PrakashKaur. Nita Ambani being modest as ever touched a chord with every girl child over there.
