No Reason To Act Your Age When It Comes To Breast Enhancement

Is it frivolous or silly for older women to consider having breast augmentation

Although modern advances are making it simpler all the time, age can bring some additional challenges to breast augmentation surgery.

One important consideration, which your surgeon will likely discuss with you during your consultation, is skin elasticity. As we age, our skin tends to become thinner and lose its resiliency. A certain degree of skin elasticity is essential in order to achieve successful results.

Your doctor may also recommend a breast lift to alleviate sagging and bring your breasts back up to a younger, perkier level. American Society of Plastic Surgeons statistics show that about 15% of breast lifts are performed on women older than 55. While most breast augmentation patients are women in their 30s, it's certainly not unusual for their moms to be contemplating similar surgery.
