Colour schemes like a completely white Christmas tree with the colours of the seasons for the ornaments or a lush green tree with white ornaments consisting of snowflakes, angels and other white objects.

Rustic themes that evoke Christmases spent in a cosy log cabin located in the woods. Think of ornaments like raffia, heirloom carved wooden ornaments like wooden beads, and pine cones.

Food themes using garlands and ornaments like gingerbread men, candy canes and cookies. These can either be real or made from synthetic materials like plastic.

Memory themes using pictures of the family, sentimental things, and other objects that evoke memories of Christmases past.

The beauty of artificial Christmas trees lies in the fact that these can be decorated in any way you desire. No need to worry about the needles and cones falling down as well as small insects hiding behind the leaves to eat at the ornaments.

Swag It with Festive Garlands and Ornaments:

The last step is to swag the Christmas tree with the festive garlands and the Christmas ornaments. Be sure to swag the tree so that the garlands are wrapped around the tree in a symmetrical manner without covering the entire tree. Then, have a go at the Christmas ornaments! Be sure to distribute the ornaments in a symmetrical, overall and even pattern, which can either be on branch tips as focal points or on the tree in general to add dimension. You also have the choice of irregularly-spaced clusters to add interest.
