Nokia C7 - Impressive On All Levels

The handset measures 117.3x 56.8x 10.5mm, making it one of the slimmest handsets on the market. 8 GB of on board memory is included as standard, which is sure to prove ample for the needs of most users. However further storage can be attained thanks to an integrated microSD slot, which users can place a memory card of up to 32 GB. Therefore, a potential 40 GB of storage can be made available meaning users can store their entire digital music collections, video clips, documents or any other files.

Class 32 GPRS and EDGE keep the handset connected to the appropriate mobile operators networks in all but the most isolated regions. Surfing the Internet relies on both 3G coverage as well as Wi-Fi. In areas with 3G coverage, an HSDPA connection provides download speeds of up to 10.2 Mbps, whilst Wi-Fi connectivity allows users to take advantage of nearby wireless routers. The Nokia C7 can be connected both wirelessly and directly to other devices via Bluetooth and micro USB connections.

An 8 mega pixel digital camera is provided and comes with a good number of built in features such as Autofocus, face detection and dual LED flash and geo-tagging. These features make for superb quality still images, whilst simultaneously simplifying the task of taking them. The geo-tagging feature utilises GPS to keep track of the location at which photos were taken. The camera can also shoot high definition video in 720p it as an alternative method of image capture, and thanks to a TV-socket, the handset can be connected to a compatible television were users can view their handy work on the big screen.

A 680 MHz processor provides the Nokia C7 with its computing power under the hood, resulting in a lightning fast user interface, and virtually zero lag time when using the touch screen or demanding applications.

Entertainment features within the Nokia C7 include a video and music player which supports multiple file formats along with a number of pre-installed games (along with access to a library of downloadable games) and a radio player. To stay productive when out of the office, the handset also comes equipped with a QuickOffice document viewer, Adobe reader and email compatibility.
