Nokia N900 and Samsung M8910 both are highly capable 3G phones with a number of extraordinary features but if you will go through the specifications, you will find lots of differences between these. First of all Nokia N900 is perfect business oriented phone while Samsung M8910 is a camera focused phone. Let me tell you about other differences which are:

Display

The front of section of Nokia N900 is dominated by 3.5 inches TFT touchscreen that can display 16 Million colours at 480 x 800 Pixels resolution. It is of 181 grams and casing measurements are 110.9 x 59.8 x 18 mm. On the other hand, Samsung M8910 has got 3.1 inches AMOLED touchscreen with 480 x 800 Pixels and displays 16 Million colours. It weighs only 120 grams and physical dimensions are 108 x 53 x 13.8 mm.

Being a business focused phone Nokia has equipped its gadget with slide out QWERTY Keyboard, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate but its contender is not having any of these features.

As mentioned earlier Samsung M8910 is a camera focused phone, it comes with 12 MP camera with Auto Focus, Power LED Flash, Xenon Flash, Variable aperture, tracking touch autofocus, geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, wide dynamic range, Smart Auto mode, image stabilization, Beauty Shot and so on. On the contrary, Nokia N900 possesses 5 MP camera with Carl Zeiss Lens, Dual LED Flash, Autofocus etc. Needless to say it cant stand against its competitor but still it works well while taking shots and recording videos. Both the gadgets featured with front face videocall camera too.

You will get GPS navigation feature with A-GPS support, Ovi Maps and digital compass on Nokia N900 but on Samsung M8910 you will get only GPS Navigation without maps and compass. Connectivity features are almost similar and both of the widgets contain Document Viewer, WAP XHTML and HTML browsers but Nokia N900 is bit powerful here as it also has Maemo Browser and supports RSS Feeds. If you buy Nokia N900, you will get 32 GB inbuilt memory, 256 MB RAM plus up to 16 GB can be increased via card slot option and if you go for Samsung M8910, you will get 150 MB internal storage space and up to 16 GB is expandable.About the Author:
