This is the reason that most of the handsets that hit the market today boast of compact dimensions. However, these smaller widgets do not lag behind their bigger counterparts, in terms of performance and looks. Take for instance, the Nokia N97 Mini. Despite weighing slightly less than its predecessor, it is equally potent.
When it comes to statistics, the Nokia N97 Mini weighs 138 grams and measures 113 x 52.5 x 14.2 mm. For the convenience of the users, it brings along a full QWERTY keyboard, that makes typing a cakewalk. Add to that the charm of handwriting recognition and what you get is nothing but a piece of art. This gadget sports a 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen, that provides the users with a baroque view, with its capacity to display up to 16 million colours.
Features galore with this magical handset. It provides the users with an internal memory of 8GB, which can be put to use to store music, videos, photographs and of course documents. In case, the users fall short of space, they can expand the memory further up to 16GB. A microSD card slot has been provided for this purpose. The Nokia N97 mini is equipped with a 5 mega pixel camera, that is blessed with a bunch of useful features, such as auto focus, dual LED flash, video light and Carl Zeiss optics, apart from geo-tagging. It works at a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels and offers an unmatched quality. The users can record videos as well, at the rate of 30 frames per second. The Nokia N97 Mini is fully-packed with useful add ons such as document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), video and photo editor, flash light 3, voice command/ dial, T9, digital compass, GPS with A-GPS support, along with Nokia Maps and TV-out to name a few. The standard Li-Ion 1200 mAh (BL-4D) battery provides the users with a talk time of up to 6 hours and facilitates playing of music for up to 32 hours.
