Noor TV (sky channel 819) is a UK based Satellite Television Channel that is broadcasting throughout Europe, Africa, Middle East and many parts of Asia via Euro Bird and Eutelsat Satellites.

Noor TV is the brainchild of Shaykh Allau-ud-din Siddiqui, who is Chancellor of Mohi-ud-din Islamic University in Pakistan, founder of Mohi-ud-din Medical College, Pakistan, and also the Chairman of Al-Ehya Trust, which is engaged in accommodating and educating, orphaned and deprived children in Pakistan.

Shaykh Allau-ud-din Siddiqui is a world-renowned scholar and presents a vision of love, peace and harmony; it is upon these foundations that he has taken the bold step of starting a Television Channel, which primarily targets the Muslim youth in around the world. The aim of the channel is to present a balanced, moderate and true face of Islam to both Muslims and non-Muslim communities across the globe in order to remove the growing negative stereotypes held by people in the west towards Islam. Shaykh Allau-ud-din Siddqui has taken a bold step to use his influence and divine wisdom spread the true message of our faith by using the power of the media to present the love which was gloriously presented to the ummah by our beloved Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and which conquered the hearts and minds of people and these people flooded towards the call of Islam.

Noor TV provides quality television programmes for the 12 Million Muslims across Europe. The programmes are all inclusive, catering for all ages, especially young people who have been born in UK. Noor TV is focused on providing the viewers a quality line up of programmes, which will provide education, lifestyle, family entertainment, travel shows, historical documentaries, sufi wisdom, kids programmes, maghrib & isha prayers from Medina, community updates, legal talk, legacies of Islam and much much more. Our programmes cover all areas, and each programme has an Islamic impact, that teaches our viewers the true love preached by our Prophet (PBUH).

We are the first channel in Europe to present high quality historical films & documentaries that focuses on the roots of our Islamic heritage and how the Islamic civilization prospered and grew in all the different Islamic countries around the world. These historical documentaries will enable the younger generation to understand the history of their forefathers so they can truly appreciate the gift of being a Muslim.

Noor TV's main goal is to promote our glorious religion in a very positive and constructive manner. We believe we have so far succeeded in this vision as Noor TV has become a globally recognised channel with a very large viewership.
