You can hardly wrap your head around what Jeep has accomplished for the 2011 Jeep Compass in terms of fuel economy, styling and loads of styling features.
This stunning new design gives the Compass a whole new look and feel, really upscaling the brand image. The Compass sure can reference the 2011 Grand Cherokee for its looks.
On the Outside
The entire front of the Compass has been upgraded with a brand new hood, fenders, fascia, headlamps, and, the most exciting, a new front grille detailed making the Compass stand out with a more upscale look and more forward stance. For the other parts of this Jeep, the compass receives 17-inch aluminum wheels or 18-inch aluminum or chrome-clad on the Limited model along with a body-colored spoiler and LED tail lamps.
Also, a band of protective cladding was added for safety when driving through tough weather conditions. This cladding also gives the Compass an upscale touch.
Interior Features
Inside this machine of modern metal, the Compass feature refined touches including a new steering wheel with integrated controls allowing the driver to operate the radio, cruise control and available hands free phone along with new soft touch door trim panels and a new center armrest designed more comfort.
A new cloth interior give the Compass a more refined feel, and all-new standard features including cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power/heated exterior mirrors, key less entry, aluminum wheels, fog lamps and sunscreen glass.
This Jeep is loaded with technology including Uconnect media center with an iPod interface, Sirius Satellite Radio, nav. with SIRIUS Travel Link, a premium audio system with nine Boston Acoustic speakers, illuminated cup holders, lift gate speakers, power sunroof, and fold-flat rear seats.
Whats Under That Hood
The Compass, Latitude and Limited are the three different models available for the 2011 Compass.
A standard 2.0-liter World Engine for the Compass Latitude models gives this vehicle 158 ponies with 141 lb-ft of torque giving this vehicle 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
The 2.4-liter World engine, available on the Limited, produces 172 ponies with 165 lb-ft of torque giving the Jeep 23/29 city/highway miles per gallon.
Exterior color options include: Blackberry Pearl coat, Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat, Bright While Clear Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Clear Coat, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Clear Coat, Deep Charcoal Gray and Mineral Gray Pearl Coat.
