North America Released About Dsi R4

It is reported that Dsi R4 is about to be released in North America and Europe in early 2010.

Nintendo has taken the wraps off a new version of the Dsi R4 handhold that sports larger 4.25-inch dual screens. The portable gaming unit will be considerably bigger than current and previous Ds and Dsi R4 models. It will be dubbed the Dsi R4 in Japan where it goes on sale on November 21 for 20,000 yen (about $220). In Europe, the unit will be known as the Dsi R4 when it appears on store shelves in the first quarter of 2010. Nintendo did not provide information on a possible North American launch.

Going big seems to be the last thing that todays culture wants in hand held advance technology. With the exception of plasma screen tvs, the little technology gets these days, the better they seem to becomes ; see i Pods, phones and hybrid cars.

Apparently, Nintendo does not think so (they like to go against the grain, apparently). The Nintendo Dsi R4 is coming the North American and European markets next year (I know you know Japan already has it). Why is it called AX? I think its because the unit is bigger than the Dsi R4 but thats just a guess.

Physically, everything is is bigger on the Dsi R4, even the stylus. Internally though, its the same as little brother; 256 megs of memory is built in, and the unit itself can still play all Dsi R4 games. In addition, games are reportedly going to look sharper on the new Dsi R4's big screen. The Dsi R4 was released in Japan earlier this year and will see a North American and European release in the first quarter of 2010.
