When I try to install Dragon Speaking 10 P does not complete the installation. It gave me an error message: "Naturally Speaking is not installed correctly. Try to install. Information on the" File not SAPIDLL.DLL records. "I tried to repair the installation CD, but it gives me an error message" Error 1500th Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this. "If you try to uninstall DrSp10 get the same message. If I try to install the program, I get the same message. I had the same problems installing Dragon Speaking 9P and never resolved."

All attempts to contact Nuance Technical Support (just try to dictate the last two words in WordPerfect, because DrSp go on the Internet) has failed. Try to use their databases not found. But Internet search found a solution and the installation was finally reached. Now the activation window pops up whenever you load NaturallySpeaking.

I've been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking since the product first to market, and is never achieved the results promised and even came close. But I must say that version 10 is more accurate than previous versions.

great product, terrible customer service

I bought the Naturally Speaking 10.1 Preferred in Spanish. I love this product and am amazed at its accuracy. I was so impressed, in fact, that the same day that I installed the software I called Nuance and after two conversations (one phone, one chat) with one sales representative, I bought the English version with express shipping. The shipping took less than 24 hours, but to my surprise, the English software did not install properly and after repeated tries, I called technical support at Nuance, the company that sells the Dragon software. It turns out that the Spanish version ALREADY HAS ENGLISH on it. The sales rep must have counseled me to buy a useless second product because she didn't know that the Spanish version already had what I needed (?). At any rate, it took almost an hour on the phone for me to realize the problem and then attempt to navigate the technical support and customer service circuits. Finally, I was told by an incredibly irritating customer service manager named Hans that the problem was my responsibility and that I needed to ship the product back at my expense. So...please learn a lesson from my wasted morning. If you buy the Spanish software, call it a day. In sum: fabulous product, infuriating sales team behind the product.

I am a chef and this program has helped me to write my recipes with out hesitation from spelling worries....I have recommended it to many of my friends. The only draw back is I can't use it in a public place unless I want everybody to know what I am creating..

Great Product

I had absolutely no problems installing the software. No errors whatsoever. Once I had it up and running, and did some of the basic training, the software has worked flawlessly for me. In fact, I am using it to write this review right now. It has its downfalls. It gets confused, though infrequently, but I do not blame it. I am at home using my crappy microphone without the digital benefits of a USB connection. A USB headset is a must. Any time it makes a mistake, you have to remember how much time it is saving you otherwise.I love this product.

Works well for me

I have Microsoft Vista 32 bit OS. Good recognition of my words and getting better as I use it. It would be nice if it could determine comma and punctuation places better (perhaps it will as I use it more), but I can always speak them if I want, though somewhat unnatural. Recommended.

This is an awesome product. The more training you put into the voice recognition and error correction the better it will function for you. Somewhat complicated, but expected that. Be prepared to spend some time learning how to train the interactive software to understand your dictation technique and language conventions.
