Numis Network Reps - Are They Misleading Us?

Several Numis Network distributors have tried to get me into their business and there are others who have asked my opinion of the company

. I have nothing against the company; however, it seems that many representatives are more interested in hyping up the business opportunity than learning everything they can about graded numismatic coins and coin collecting in general.

Numis Network has said that numismatic coins are collectable coins, not investment coins. Several reps have tried to sell me on the fact that "the coins contain gold and silver", which should not be the main selling point because these are collectables that do not have as much silver and gold in them as other types of coins.

In the last two years, due to the state of the economy, financial experts have said that it is wise to invest in precious metals instead of placing all your money in the bank. Therefore, I can see why people are investing in anything that contains silver and gold these days...but once again, numismatic coins were not meant to be investments, so why are so many reps talking about how the coins are good investments?

Personally I don't think that Numis Network distributors are trying to misinform people, I think that they jumped into the opportunity without really knowing what they are selling. Selling collectible coins are a great thing, but know what you are selling before you try to sell it to others. Your prospects should not know more about the product you are selling than you do.

Now, to be honest with you, I hardly know anything about coin collecting; therefore, I would have to do a lot of research before ever joining this company. I will not do the research because I'm not interested in coin collecting. So the big question to distributors is, are you just in this business because of the opportunity itself, or do you link coin collecting? If you are a Numis Network distributor or planning to become one, do yourself a favor and learn all that you can about numismatic coin collecting so that you are on top of your game when it comes to making sales.

Many coin collectors have said that the American Eagle Coin has been one of the most highly demanded coins containing precious metals. Also, there has been a legitimate shortage of them, which has increased the demand. From my understanding, Numis Network is doing an excellent job at making sure that they purchase all in demand coins at a faster rate than other retailers, which in turn will cause collectors to eventually have to turn to this company to get many coins that will no longer be produced.
